A dance theater duet piece, created in collaboration between Shlomit Fundaminsky and the composer Dganit Elyakim.

The piece is an ongoing, absurd and grotesque attempt, to be the perfect woman - the ideal. Does she exist?

The soundtrack that accompanies the piece is mostly textual. As it flows through monologues, mantras, sighs, moans and music. It forms a collage that compresses the past and present of female oppression and pathology, as it is documented in the mass media (radio, television and the internet). The time axis moves with no distinction between past and present. The materials are sampled from Internet archives.

The dance is a sequence of associations, thoughts, feelings and feminine images from daily life. The dancers are reflecting one another. They are friends, sisters, mother/daughter or lovers. Their body sculptures women's shapes from small to large, from sexy to obnoxious. They shift through icons such as warrior women, divas, goddesses, double heads or multiple arms. They are chasing the ever changing, always demanding trends and fashions of the fragile definition of female beauty.
